You are required to have a good honours degree from a recognised University or equivalent institution. Your application materials or previous qualifications should be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of musicology. This can typically be demonstrated through a relevant dissertation undertaken at undergraduate level or other substantial piece of guided research, or where the musicological component of your degree was awarded marks of at least an upper second class level.

Following condition must be completed: 1. Above Qualification Obtained within 5 years. The only exceptions are HHS professionally accredited courses (Nursing etc). 2. Punjab and Haryana state boards not eligible in any condition. 3. Applicants whose home state is Punjab or Haryana must take a SELT. Applicants with lapsed Standard XII will only be offered Password tests if their English scores are 80% or higher at the discretion of the India office.If entry is with a qualification at a lower level, but with compensating experience, the qualification and experience should be in the area of Music Technology. Claims for the accreditation of prior (experiential) learning (APL) will also be considered through submission of portfolio work and detailed documentation of experience demonstrating prior knowledge at the appropriate level. It will be possible to undertake further activities as discussed with the course team to further develop and support applications on a person by person basis. Applications by mature applicants is also encouraged, with both academic and industrial experience considered through the application process.
